Glynloen Insurance Consulting (“Glynloen,” “we”) respects the privacy of everyone who visits glynloen.com. This notice explains what information the website collects, why, and the choices you have.
Information you choose to send us
The website has no accounts or logins, and no forms that store your information on our servers. When you use the contact or availability form, or click an email address, your own email program opens with a message addressed to us. We receive only what you choose to send, the same as any email.
Please do not send confidential case materials, privileged communications, or personal health information by email until we have confirmed that we have no conflict and agreed to work together.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are read, how visitors arrive (search, a link, or directly), the general type of device, and approximate location at the city or region level. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to do this. We also record when a visitor clicks an email address or phone number, sends a form, or plays a video, so we know which parts of the site are useful.
We use this information only in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to identify individual visitors. We have turned off Google’s optional data-sharing settings, we do not use it for advertising, and we keep the data for 14 months.
Our web host, GitHub, and our domain provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to operate the service.
Site search and video
The site’s search box runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to us or anyone else. The introductory video is hosted on our own site, not on YouTube or another video platform.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above (Google for analytics, GitHub for hosting) as needed to run the site, or when required by law.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google’s free opt-out browser add-on.
- Many browsers’ tracking-protection or ad-blocking settings also stop Google Analytics from loading.
To ask about information you have sent us, or to ask us to delete correspondence where we are not required to keep it, email info@glynloen.com.
Children
This website is intended for attorneys, insurers, regulators, and other professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites, such as LinkedIn or professional directories, are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
